The FAIRiCUBE project team recently gathered for their second status meeting this year in Wageningen, hosted by Wageningen Environmental Research (WUR). The primary focus was to prepare for the delivery of the final project outcomes, with less than a year remaining. The team took the opportunity to assess progress, strategize future plans, and discuss business and scaling strategies for both the FAIRiCUBE Hub and the individual use cases.
Given the project’s extensive interactions between the five Use Cases and the Hub, the meeting provided valuable insights into the potential paths for sustaining and expanding the FAIRiCUBE initiatives. This holistic view helped the team align their efforts and explore various opportunities for future development.
In the evening, the team enjoyed some social activities, including a guided tour of Wageningen, which offered deeper insights into the city’s history and culture. They also visited a local brewery to sample the region’s beer. Of course, for the full Dutch experience, they went everywhere by bike, the way to go in Wageningen.
